Construction Manager Electrical BESS

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Construction Manager Electrical BESS to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting the Construction Manager in executing all electrical construction activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role focuses on ensuring safe, timely, quality, and compliant execution according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities for BESS, MV/LV systems, transformers, PCS/inverters, switchgear, cables, earthing, and auxiliary systems.
• Plan and monitor daily and weekly construction activities against the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, T&C, and subcontractor teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Review method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and risk assessments for electrical works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, Non-Conformance Report (NCR) resolution, and punch-point closure with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, inspection, testing, and technical support.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization activities.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints and delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the client and consultant for inspections, approvals, and technical issues.
• Maintain progress reports, site records, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and electrical safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in construction management, specifically within electrical systems for BESS projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires close coordination with various internal and external teams to ensure project success.
