Construction Manager

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager to join its site-based Construction Supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a major landmark development project, focusing on end-to-end supervision and management to ensure project completion, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Project Context

The project involves the design, enabling, and main works for a large-scale destination development. This includes several iconic assets, hospitality facilities, and supporting infrastructure. The Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) operates under a client governance framework with strict requirements for program, quality, safety, and sustainability, ensuring successful operations and long-term legacy objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to site construction teams and supervision staff.
• Ensure construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Review and approve construction plans, method statements, and work programs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Oversee contract administration in coordination with commercial and contracts teams.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and key metrics to senior management and the client.
• Support change management, claims avoidance/mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of a dedicated Construction Supervision team. The position is full-time, contributing to a significant landmark development.
