Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Civil Engineer for Cost Control leads the comprehensive management of project finances. This role is critical for maintaining financial health by accurately monitoring budgets, committed costs, actual expenditures, and financial forecasts, thereby supporting informed decision-making for project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately monitor project budgets, committed costs, actual costs, and financial forecasts.
• Review cost trends to identify potential financial issues or opportunities for optimization.
• Evaluate project variations and claims, providing detailed analytical reports.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports for project leadership, detailing financial status and projections.
• Support cash flow analysis to ensure the ongoing financial stability of projects.
• Advise project leadership on potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Identify and communicate commercial risks to relevant project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control within civil engineering projects.
