About the Role

Kanz is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves the critical task of monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and provide timely financial insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project cost reports, cost-to-complete, and estimate-at-completion forecasts, utilizing RIB Candy.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify any cost variances.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Track variation orders, claims, and provisional sums.
• Support monthly project cost reviews and management reporting processes.
• Reconcile project costs with finance and accounting records.
• Assist in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting activities.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, planning, procurement, and site teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• Mandatory experience in the construction/contracting industry.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with RIB Candy or CostX is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Primavera, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• RICS, AACE, or PMP certifications are preferred.

Work Location and Requirements

This role is based in Riyadh. Immediate joining is required. Candidates must be residing in KSA and possess a valid iqama.
