About Ardara and the Role

Ardara is seeking a Director Corporate Communications to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for directing the development and implementation of Ardara’s corporate communication strategy. The primary objective of this role is to build and maintain Ardara’s brand and reputation within the external environment, both locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing external communications, including public and media relations.
  • Leading crisis communication planning and execution.
  • Overseeing internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing executive profiling strategies.
  • Mapping stakeholders and developing engagement plans.
  • Directing content development and ensuring brand message alignment.
  • Managing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

External Communications and Reputation Management

The Director will develop public and media relations strategies, identify opportunities for favorable media relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create targeted external communications. This includes reviewing and endorsing press releases, establishing networks with local, regional, and international media agencies, and leading the development of crisis communication plans in collaboration with Legal and GRC functions to prevent reputational damage. The role also involves developing an Executive Profiling plan to raise the profile of senior executives and creating a Spokesperson Matrix for external representation.

Internal Engagement and Content Strategy

This position directs the internal communications strategy to support employee engagement, ensuring employees are informed about Ardara's activities and achievements. It also involves directing the development of core messages, ensuring all corporate content aligns with brand messages, and creating a Content Repository for Ardara and its projects. Additionally, the Director is responsible for directing CSR activities that enhance the corporate image among stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, or an equivalent field from a recognized and accredited university is desirable.

Experience and Expertise

  • A minimum of 14+ years of professional experience in Corporate Communications within a fast-paced and dynamic development organization.
  • Proven track record of successful corporate communications, marketing, promotional campaigns, and communication management.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy forward-looking strategic, managerial, and operational methods, including cutting-edge technologies.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of governing bodies, committees, and regulatory organizations within the development sector in Saudi Arabia.
