Role Overview

The Director Gaming & Esports Asset Strategy is responsible for the planning, development, and advancement of Gaming and Esports assets across Qiddiya. This full-time role involves overseeing the entire asset strategy lifecycle, from initial concept definition through Stage Gate approvals. The Director will lead the strategic development of multiple assets, including defining value propositions, target audiences, and financial feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of various Gaming and Esports assets, including defining value propositions, target audiences, experience design principles, demand and supply dynamics, and overall commercial positioning.
• Translate high-level vision into structured asset strategies that clearly articulate the product concept, operating model logic, and market differentiation.
• Support financial feasibility and business case development in collaboration with Finance and Development teams to ensure assets are commercially robust and investment-ready.
• Design and oversee operator selection strategies, including procurement approach, evaluation frameworks, and appointment processes for operating partners and specialist advisors.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs across Strategy, Partnerships, Development, Legal, Procurement, and Finance to ensure integrated and aligned asset progression.
• Drive the advancement of priority Gaming and Esports assets across multiple districts, ensuring alignment with broader masterplanning, IP strategy, and destination objectives.
• Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and briefing materials to support leadership decision-making and external stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to budgeting, phasing, and capital planning discussions to ensure effective prioritization and delivery of assets.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
