The Role: Director of Saudi/GCC Business Development

UK-GCC Private Capital is seeking a Director of Saudi/GCC Business Development to lead business development, capital formation, and strategic relationship-building across the GCC region, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. This is a full-time, senior commercial role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring over 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will expand the company's presence by engaging with senior decision-makers in real estate, private capital, investment, and wealth management sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the GCC business development strategy across the specified markets.
• Drive capital formation for cross-border investment opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members, sponsors, delegates, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
• Identify new commercial opportunities in real estate, private capital, investment, banking, wealth management, energy transition, and related sectors.
• Establish relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
• Lead client and prospect meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions.
• Secure participation from leading GCC real estate developers and investment businesses in the UK-GCC Private Capital Investment Summits in London, including the Real Estate Exhibition and associated investor programs.
• Grow the annual membership base across the GCC and develop long-term commercial relationships with organizations seeking access to UK and international private capital.
• Identify investment and commercial opportunities connecting GCC capital with UK and international markets.
• Represent UK-GCC Private Capital at relevant GCC conferences, investor meetings, and business events.
• Build and manage long-term relationships with strategic members, sponsors, developers, and institutional partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience with a demonstrated track record in new business development within real estate, private capital, investment banking, wealth management, asset management, financial services, or related sectors.
• An established network among senior decision-makers in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and/or other GCC markets.
• Proven ability to originate, develop, and close high-value commercial relationships.
• Experience engaging with real estate developers, investment funds, family offices, institutional investors, financial institutions, or corporate groups.
• Strong business planning skills, including market analysis, go-to-market strategy, and pipeline development.
• Proven experience in contract and commercial negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with C-suite and senior investment professionals.
• Deep understanding of the GCC business environment and cross-border investment dynamics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to operate independently and build a market presence.
• Strong commercial mindset with a demonstrable record of delivering measurable business development results.
