Job Description

About the Driver Role

National Medical Care Company (Care) is seeking a dedicated and professional Driver to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the timely and safe transport of personnel, specimens, and documents, thereby contributing to a superior quality of care and service for patients and staff within our hospitals and clinics. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant driving experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specimens, mail, packages, and other documents to designated addresses, coordinating effectively with requesting departments.
  • Provide transport services for female employees to shopping areas, King Khalid International Airport, King Abdulaziz International Airport (for vacation travel and exit visas), and specified banks (Saudi American and Riyadh Bank), as per approved schedules and requests.
  • Transport medical and nursing staff to examination sites for their Ministry of Health (MOH) licensure examinations.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks of the assigned vehicle before each trip, including brakes, water, oil, tire pressure, and overall physical condition.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations, taking necessary precautions to ensure safety during all assignments.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties as assigned, consistent with the employee's knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Vehicle Usage and Safety Guidelines

Drivers are responsible for operating company vehicles in accordance with established policies, ensuring their use is strictly for business purposes. Personal use of company vehicles, including commuting or personal errands between business activities, is prohibited. Adherence to the following rules is mandatory:

  1. Report any damage or operational problems with the assigned vehicle immediately.
  2. Immediately report any changes to driving privileges, such as a driver’s license suspension.
  3. Always ensure company vehicles are securely locked when unattended.
  4. Bring the vehicle to all scheduled maintenance appointments.
  5. Do not operate a company vehicle while intoxicated, fatigued, or under the influence of medication that impairs driving ability.
  6. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any company vehicle.
  7. Company vehicles must not be leased, sold, or lent to others.
  8. Refrain from using a phone or texting while driving.
  9. Unauthorized drivers are not permitted to use a company vehicle, except in emergency situations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A valid Driving License Certificate is required.
  • Completion of a relevant Driving Training Course.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional driving experience.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Driver will operate within the dynamic environment of a leading medical care provider. The role involves regular interaction with hospital and clinic staff, contributing directly to the operational efficiency and patient support services of National Medical Care Company (Care).
