The Role of EHS Supervisor

Lenovo is seeking an EHS Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety systems and policies to align with corporate objectives and production plans. The EHS Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in EHS practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine environmental, occupational health, and safety policies, procedures, and workflows in line with corporate objectives and production plans.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) systems.
  • Formulate annual EHS work plans and supervise their implementation; draft and revise relevant EHS management systems and standards.
  • Organize regular safety inspections and hazard identification, ensuring closed-loop corrective actions for identified risks.
  • Manage hazardous chemicals in terms of storage, usage, and waste disposal.
  • Oversee fire safety management and organize emergency drills.
  • Lead incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
  • Supervise the provision and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure compliant treatment and disposal of wastewater, exhaust gases, solid waste, and hazardous waste (*, solder dross, spent organic solvents).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the EHS Supervisor position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental, health, and safety management. A strong understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards is required.
