The Role of Electrical Inspector

KEO International Consultants is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by contractors and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practice.
  • Report any works carried out by the contractor that are not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for appropriate action.
  • Monitor the quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual/QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
  • Maintain records of daily on-site activities, including progress photos, ensuring they are readily available for inspection.
  • Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies found on site and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if required, based on the development of events.
  • Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
  • Provide technical input and experience to resolve any discipline-related issues that may arise on site.

Candidate Experience

  • Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
