The Role: Electrical Sales Engineer

Advansys is seeking a motivated and results-driven Electrical Sales Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical support for electrical products and solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales skills to identify customer needs, prepare proposals, and close sales opportunities within the electrical sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and industries.
  • Promote and sell electrical products, equipment, and solutions to contractors, consultants, distributors, and end-users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical demonstrations.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure orders.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and projects to maximize conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A certified SCE Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, electrical sales, or a related field.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of electrical products such as switchgear, transformers, cables, control panels, circuit breakers, LV/MV systems, or industrial electrical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM software is an advantage.
  • A valid driving license is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires an individual with 1-3 years of experience who is prepared to engage directly with clients and internal teams to achieve sales objectives and contribute to the company's growth.
