Facilities Management Director

About the Role

Riymar is seeking a Facilities Management Director to lead the development and implementation of the company’s facilities management strategy in Riyadh. This full-time role ensures that operational activities align with business objectives and client requirements, overseeing the delivery of integrated facilities management services.

Role Overview

The Facilities Management Director is responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of all facilities and assets. This includes managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management, inspections, technical assessments, and planned maintenance activities. The Director ensures that facilities remain operational, safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, ensuring consistent achievement of contractual obligations, service levels, KPIs, and SLAs. Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, addressing operational concerns and providing performance updates.
• Oversee contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure outsourced services meet contractual requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, and agreed service levels. Support contract negotiations, commercial reviews, and supplier performance management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Establish procedures for risk management, emergency response, business continuity, and operational safety.
• Prepare and manage facilities management budgets, monitor operational and capital expenditure, control costs, review financial performance, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements while maintaining service quality.
• Lead and develop the facilities management team, establish performance objectives and KPIs, evaluate team performance, and identify development needs to ensure appropriate capabilities and resources.
• Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, resource optimization, and environmental initiatives across managed facilities, identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Monitor operational performance through regular reports, dashboards, audits, inspections, and performance reviews. Utilize operational data to identify risks, improve service delivery, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management.

Services Oversight

The Director will oversee a broad range of integrated facilities management services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping, MEP services, technical services, and other soft and hard FM services.
