About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Female Spa Therapist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering exceptional massage and body treatments. The role requires a focus on ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism within the spa environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a range of massage services and body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, to guests.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about any contraindications before commencing services.
• Stay updated with current techniques and modalities in the field of spa therapy.
• Escort guests, arrange workstations, prepare treatment rooms, and manage drapes.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment, ensuring workstation cleanliness.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment.
• Monitor and adhere to scheduled treatment times.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Guest Experience and Professional Standards

• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout all services.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International standard operating procedures, which includes stopping services and informing management.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and develop positive working relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional personal appearance at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required: A valid State or Regional Massage License.
• Preferred: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• Ability to maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.

Physical Requirements

The role involves performing various physical tasks, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods. Candidates must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects, as well as lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The position also requires the utilization of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for specific tasks.
