Role Overview

Hetero is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving the financial strategy, governance, and performance of the organization’s operations within Saudi Arabia. The position requires a finance leader with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including exposure to regulated markets, complex supply chains, and global compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
• Collaborate with the CFO and Board to promote long-term growth, profitability, and value creation.
• Provide strategic insights on investments, M&A opportunities, and expansion within GCC and Middle Eastern markets.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes, driving performance tracking and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable Saudi Arabian regulations, maintaining strong internal controls and corporate governance frameworks.
• Manage financial aspects of API and formulation businesses, including costing, margins, and pricing strategies.
• Support supply chain finance, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
• Develop and implement enterprise risk management frameworks, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring audit readiness.
• Engage with investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, supporting fundraising and capital structuring.
• Build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a finance leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with regulated markets, complex supply chains, and global compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial leadership.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
