The Role: Financial Operations Analyst

Hala is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. In this full-time role, the analyst will be responsible for examining financial operations and providing recommendations aimed at increasing profit margins. This position is central to ensuring operational efficiency and financial accuracy within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and correct customer tax data.
• Prepare, review, and verify customer data for tax invoices to ensure compliance and correctness.
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and track discrepancies related to tax invoices and credit notes.
• Prepare and conduct analysis reports as requested.
• Reconcile financial transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Verify payment and document processes to ensure accurate payment amounts.
• Assist with pre-forming data analysis, including the development of standard metrics and trend management.
• Support the preparation of monthly reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand the main drivers of variance from budget.
• Support management reporting related to operations performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Identify, perform, and drive process improvement opportunities in the month-end close process.
• Prepare, consolidate, review, and present cost analysis on a monthly basis to finance and operations leadership teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial operations and data.
• Proficiency in preparing and verifying financial documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Experience in preparing reports and presenting financial analysis.
