About the Role

Women First Jobs is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Butler to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing personalized and attentive food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and provide personalized service, understanding preferences, dietary requirements, and special requests.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, building professional relationships to enhance their experience.
• Handle VIP guests and special occasions with discretion and attention to detail, responding promptly to requests and feedback.
• Deliver professional food and beverage service across various locations, including restaurants, lounges, guest rooms, and private dining.
• Present menus, explain dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods, taking accurate orders and communicating them to kitchen and bar teams.
• Ensure proper table setting, presentation, clearing, and resetting, coordinating courses for a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages (coffee, tea, juices, mocktails, wines) and recommend suitable options, adhering to responsible service procedures.
• Record and communicate guest preferences to relevant departments, remembering repeat and VIP guest preferences.
• Coordinate special requests such as birthdays, anniversaries, or personalized dining experiences, ensuring confidentiality of guest information.

Operational Support and Quality Assurance

• Prepare assigned service areas before each shift, checking availability of menus, cutlery, glassware, crockery, and linen.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the service area.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, and other departments as required.
• Ensure orders are correctly entered into the POS system and assist with accurate billing.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve minor service issues, and escalate serious concerns to management.
• Maintain professionalism and composure in demanding situations, supporting the team in achieving service quality targets.

Hygiene, Safety, and Compliance

• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP requirements.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure safe handling and serving of food and beverages.
• Report maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns immediately.
