About the Role

SAB is seeking a Governance and Reporting Manager to join its Human Resources Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals with 2-5 years of experience, focusing on ensuring robust HR governance and compliance within the organization.

Role Purpose and Context

This role is central to establishing and maintaining a robust governance framework within the HR department. The manager will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee policy reviews, and provide accurate, timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This position acts as a key liaison for audit functions and drives senior management decision-making through comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the governance framework by conducting annual reviews of HR policies and procedures, including gap analysis against regulator policies and circulars.
  • Track and manage all policy review cycles with time-bound actions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the annual review of the employee Code of Conduct to ensure comprehensive coverage of all requirements.
  • Manage the annual review of the Consequence Management Policy and procedure, ensuring proper reporting of cases to management.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to regulatory non-compliance or gaps/overlaps in current policies or procedures.
  • Maintain an annual governance activity plan and calendar to ensure structured oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders and enhance communication to ensure awareness and understanding of HR governance.
  • Submit periodic and ad-hoc reports requested by regulatory authorities, coordinating extensively with multiple stakeholders to ensure validation and accuracy within required timeframes.
  • Ensure awareness of new regulatory requirements that necessitate action, such as gap analysis and decision-making, to achieve full regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain an HR governance dashboard to track and monitor key regulatory matrices across various HR functions.
  • Act as the focal point of contact with Audit for any audit exercises or reviews, monitoring the tracking and resolution of all findings for timely closure.
  • Prepare Board, Sub-board, and Management committee meeting packs for submission, ensuring appropriate visibility of operational risks, controls, issues, governance, and events to facilitate senior management decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Human Resources Department. The role requires extensive coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve its objectives.
