About the Role

Sharp Minds, a leading Saudi non-profit foundation, is seeking a Head of Gaming to lead its gaming strategy and initiatives. This part-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves defining new areas of focus and fostering collaborations across the gaming ecosystem.

Role Overview

The Head of Gaming will be responsible for leading the foundation's gaming strategy and portfolio of initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to shape and develop new areas of focus, translating strategic vision into concrete programs with clear plans, business cases, and delivery roadmaps from concept through activation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the foundation's gaming strategy and portfolio of initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape and develop new areas of focus within gaming.
• Develop plans, business cases, and delivery roadmaps for initiatives from concept to activation.
• Build and manage partnerships across the local and international gaming ecosystem.
• Engage senior industry stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and impact.
• Act as the senior gaming voice for the foundation, both internally and externally.
• Set priorities with leadership while maintaining hands-on involvement in execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• 15–20+ years of relevant experience, with significant experience specifically within the gaming industry.
• Proven track record in leadership roles within the gaming sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and establishing gaming strategies, initiatives, and new areas of focus.
• Strong network across the local and international gaming ecosystem.
• Experience in building partnerships and engaging senior industry stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem, key players, and market dynamics.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Work Setting

This is a part-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a leader with direct delivery ownership, setting the strategic direction and ensuring its implementation.
