About the Role

Antal International is seeking a Home Health Care Consultant to join a leading Hospital & Healthcare Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing expert medical care to patients in their home environment and contributing to the development of comprehensive, patient-centered home healthcare services.

Job Summary

The Home Health Care Consultant will provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients receiving care at home. This role includes managing patients with complex and chronic medical conditions, coordinating care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and developing individualized care plans based on patient needs. The Consultant will also support quality improvement initiatives, supervise medical teams, educate patients and families, and ensure high standards of clinical care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the home healthcare setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment and care plans.
  • Manage patients with complex, chronic, and multiple medical conditions.
  • Provide consultative services and clinical guidance to the home healthcare team.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Monitor patients' clinical progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and ongoing care needs.
  • Identify and manage acute changes in patients' clinical conditions and determine the need for escalation or hospital referral.
  • Supervise and support physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in home care.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and service development initiatives.
  • Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Follow all hospital and home healthcare-related policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education & Certification:
    • Graduate from a recognized medical school of good standing.
    • Completion of required postgraduate training in a relevant medical specialty.
    • American Board Certification or equivalent recognized qualification (*, UK CCT/CCST, Australia FRACP).
    • Qualification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
    • DataFlow verification is required.
  • Professional Experience:
    • 5-10 years of demonstrated experience managing complex and chronic medical patients.
    • Experience in home healthcare, community medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or palliative care is highly desirable.
    • Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
    • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and care coordination skills.
    • Experience in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical education, or service development is an advantage.
  • References:
    • Positive professional references attesting to clinical expertise, professional experience, communication skills, and ethical conduct.
