About the Internship

Amazon is seeking motivated and innovative HR Generalist Interns to contribute to its global workforce. This full-time internship, based in Riyadh, offers the opportunity to work on projects that impact employees and business success, while learning from HR professionals. The internship duration is 3 to 6 months, with a start date in 2027. Successful interns may be considered for a graduate role upon completion of their university studies.

Role Overview

This internship provides hands-on experience across various human resources functions, including employee relations, training, compensation, and workforce analytics. Interns will develop core HR competencies within Amazon's culture, building fundamental skills in a fast-paced, global environment. The role involves applying analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, alongside developing communication and other professional soft skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of HR functions within Amazon's operations.
• Assist with internal communication efforts to align teams across multiple countries.
• Help develop training plans and materials to address evolving development needs.
• Learn about HR functions across the broader Amazon organization and stay updated on best practices.
• Provide support to Amazon employees on daily queries related to attendance, engagement, compensation, and other HR matters.
• Assist HR teams with day-to-day operational routines and administrative tasks.
• Participate in process reviews to identify opportunities for simplification and automation.
• Compile personnel statistics, reports, and performance evaluations to inform decision-making.
• Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies and initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience required.
• Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Must have the right to work in the country of employment (Saudi Arabia) by the start date.
