About the HSE Manager Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an HSE Manager for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to leading health, safety, and environmental management across significant road and infrastructure projects. The primary objective is to ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, legal regulations, and international standards, fostering a zero-incident work environment.

Role Purpose and Project Scope

The HSE Manager will oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance within assigned projects. This involves developing and implementing robust HSE frameworks to protect personnel, assets, and the environment. The role requires aligning project operations with both global best practices and local regulatory requirements to maintain high safety standards and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project HSE Management System.
• Lead safety teams, inspectors, and officers across all project zones.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Approve risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and environmental guidelines.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct HSE orientation, training programs, and competency evaluations.
• Manage reporting of KPIs, safety statistics, and monthly HSE dashboards.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for safety compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the entire workforce.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Preference will be given to individuals with a proven track record in implementing and maintaining comprehensive HSE systems within road and infrastructure projects.
