About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking a Saudi Talent – Early Career individual to join the Service & Maintenance team as an HVAC Assistant Technician in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to start their career in HVAC technology.

Role Overview

The HVAC Assistant Technician will support the experienced service team with various tasks related to HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites. This role provides hands-on experience with leading HVAC technologies, including Chillers, VRV, DX, AHU, FAHU, and FCU systems, and offers a foundation for developing technical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend service and maintenance calls for HVAC systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Perform basic refrigerant handling, leak checks, and component replacement under supervision.
• Read basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment and provide professional customer support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning.
• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Eagerness to learn and a technical curiosity.
• Enjoyment of hands-on work.
