About the Role

Amentum is seeking qualified candidates to serve as ICITAP Mobile Police Trainers in the Riyadh Region of Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, independent contractor position supporting the * Department of Justice's International Criminal Investigative Training and Assistance Program (ICITAP). Mobile Trainers will be deployed to various locations within Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Medina, and Tabuk, for short-term assignments of 2-6 weeks, as dictated by the training schedule.

Program Context

Amentum provides specialized training, advisory, and mentoring services to host nations under the DOJ's ICITAP program. ICITAP is a key initiative in combating transnational crime, terrorism, and promoting the rule of law and human rights globally. Mobile Police Trainers will contribute to this mission by delivering expert instruction in various law enforcement disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Police Trainers will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert instruction in designated law enforcement training disciplines, primarily in classroom settings but also in field environments.
  • Conducting training sessions with the assistance of Arabic/English speaking interpreters.
  • Ensuring the proper receipt, condition, and transfer of all instructional equipment and materials between training sites.
  • Coordinating with training site managers.
  • Managing all aspects of course delivery, including student registration, module completion, exam integrity, and certificate issuance.
  • Preparing and submitting comprehensive written post-training reports as specified by ICITAP program management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a commissioned law enforcement officer.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience related to the subject matter to be taught.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a law enforcement instructor.
  • At least 1 year of prior experience working in an international setting.
  • Formal certification as a law enforcement instructor, preferably from a POST organization or law enforcement training academy.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as function effectively as part of a team.
  • Capacity to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid * passport.
  • Good physical condition and ability to pass a pre-deployment medical examination.
  • Must be a * citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Public Trust Waiver * Government Clearance.
