About the Role

Almanea Co. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects across Almanea’s technology portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards, while effectively managing cross-functional stakeholders from initiation through to post-implementation review.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and comprehensive risk registers.
• Track and report project progress against baseline plans, escalating deviations promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage communication with business units, IT teams, and senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate steering committee and project status meetings, producing clear status reports and executive dashboards.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining a live risk and issue log with agreed owners and mitigation actions.
• Escalate high-impact risks to the Head of IT Operations and CTO as required.
• Ensure all projects adhere to Almanea’s IT project governance framework.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned to foster continuous improvement.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial controls are consistently maintained.

Project Deliverables

The role requires the production and management of key project documentation, including:

• Project charter, detailing scope, objectives, and stakeholders.
• Comprehensive project management plan, covering schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
• Regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and detailed project schedule.
• Risk register and issue tracking reports.
• Project closure report, summarizing outcomes and lessons learned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience within the retail or consumer electronics industry is considered advantageous.

Required Certifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is mandatory.
• Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
