The Role of Laundry Manager

SSCL is seeking a Laundry Manager to oversee all aspects of laundry operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves managing daily workflows, ensuring service quality, and optimizing departmental performance. The role requires a professional with significant experience in laundry management, focusing on operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laundry operations, workflow, and service quality.
• Manage departmental budgets, control operating costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor laundry productivity, linen inventory, and equipment performance.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor departmental performance, and implement improvement plans.
• Lead staffing, workforce planning, training, and employee performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, safety regulations, and hotel quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure efficient linen supply and service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in laundry management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex laundry operations.
• Strong understanding of budget management and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in monitoring productivity and inventory.
• Experience in staff leadership, training, and performance evaluation.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
