About the Role: Learning Experience Manager / Head Teacher of Sciences

Noon - Education for Everyone is seeking a Learning Experience Manager / Head Teacher of Sciences (National Curriculum) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time academic role is designed for an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, focusing on shaping the science curriculum for thousands of students daily while maintaining direct classroom engagement. The position is central to Noon Academy's mission to transform the learning experience through hybrid classrooms, blending remote instruction with in-person facilitation and AI-driven engagement.

Role Context and Impact

Noon Academy operates as a leading edtech platform in the Middle East, serving over 12 million students and teachers. The company focuses on reinventing schools in Saudi Arabia through hybrid classroom models where a remote master teacher leads sessions, supported by in-room facilitators. This role specifically involves defining curriculum emphasis, ensuring quality, and coaching teachers, rather than administrative management. The Head Teacher will influence the educational content and delivery for thousands of students across Noon's operations, leveraging data to inform curriculum adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to determine curriculum topics, weighting, and the overall term and year plan for science subjects on the National track.
  • Review and approve final lesson plans before they are implemented in the system.
  • Coach and develop delivery teachers on content delivery, managing hybrid classrooms, and maintaining student engagement.
  • Conduct observations, provide feedback, and follow up to improve teaching practices.
  • Deliver lessons periodically to stay connected with content, observe practical application, and gather direct student feedback.
  • Ensure the academic quality of the science curriculum across Middle School and High School, including topic sequencing, depth, and alignment with assessments.
  • Translate assessment data (Diagnostics, Exit Tickets, End-of-Chapter results, Learning Gain) into actionable curriculum changes for subsequent terms.
  • Represent the academic perspective in cross-functional discussions with Design, Learning Excellence, Product, and Data teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of direct teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching other teachers.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for science subjects.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and shape curriculum content and delivery methods.
  • Proficiency in interpreting educational assessment data to inform pedagogical decisions.

Work Environment and Impact

This role operates within Noon Academy's innovative hybrid classroom model, which combines remote master teachers with physical classroom settings and in-room facilitators. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a new pedagogical approach in Saudi Arabia, influencing a large student population. The work environment emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, utilizing data from diagnostics and assessments to refine teaching strategies and curriculum content.
