Legal Manager

About the Role

SANY Saudi Arabia is seeking a Legal Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing legal advice and support to management and business units across a range of commercial and corporate legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to management and business units on commercial and corporate legal matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure company operations comply with applicable Saudi laws, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Identify and assess legal risks, providing recommendations to mitigate potential exposure.
• Manage and coordinate litigation, disputes, claims, and legal proceedings, engaging external legal counsel when necessary.
• Provide legal support for commercial transactions, procurement, sales, leasing, employment, and other business activities.
• Monitor changes in Saudi legislation and regulations, advising relevant departments on their potential impact.
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies, procedures, templates, and contract standards.
• Support internal departments in resolving legal issues and ensure timely legal assistance.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, legal documents, disputes, and other legal matters.
• Liaise with government authorities, external lawyers, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related legal field. A Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in commercial, corporate, or in-house legal roles.
• Prior experience within a multinational, industrial, construction, or heavy-equipment company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations, particularly in commercial and corporate matters.
• Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal risk management.
