Logistics Coordinator PMV

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Logistics Coordinator PMV to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of plant, machinery, and vehicles (PMV) across UCC Construction projects. The coordinator ensures efficient movement, allocation, mobilization, and demobilization of PMV resources, maintaining operational support and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator PMV will manage various aspects of equipment logistics, documentation, fleet coordination, and compliance. This includes:

• Coordinating the mobilization, transfer, allocation, relocation, and demobilization of PMV between projects, yards, and workshops.
• Preparing daily and weekly PMV movement schedules based on project requirements and operational priorities.
• Arranging transportation, loading, unloading, escort requirements, permits, and route planning for PMV movements.
• Maintaining accurate records of all plant, machinery, vehicles, and related accessories, including PMV registers, allocation records, and movement logs.
• Ensuring all required documents are available and current, such as registration, insurance, inspection certificates, and operator documentation.
• Coordinating with PMV, workshop, maintenance, and operations teams regarding equipment availability and readiness.
• Supporting the planning of preventive maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repair activities.
• Ensuring all PMV movements comply with company procedures, project requirements, traffic regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Coordinating with HSE teams to ensure compliance with lifting, loading, securing, transportation, and site-entry requirements.
• Coordinating with equipment rental companies, transport contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering PMV movements, equipment allocation, utilization, and availability.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce transportation, rental, standby, and operational costs.

Accountabilities

The primary accountabilities for this position include:

• Ensuring the timely and efficient movement of PMV to and from project locations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date PMV records, registers, and movement documentation.
• Ensuring all vehicles and equipment possess valid statutory, safety, and operational documentation.
• Coordinating equipment availability in line with project programs and site requirements.
• Minimizing equipment downtime, unnecessary rental periods, idle resources, and avoidable logistics costs.
• Ensuring safe loading, transportation, unloading, and site delivery of all PMV assets.
• Providing accurate and timely logistics reports to project and PMV management.
• Maintaining effective communication between project teams, workshops, transport providers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting UCC Construction projects. The role involves coordination with various internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, workshop personnel, transport providers, procurement, and site teams.
