Management Compliance Auditor

About the Role

Foodsmith is seeking a Management Compliance Auditor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves acting as an objective, independent observer of management, evaluating the effectiveness of operational processes, internal controls, and risk management frameworks. The auditor will ensure alignment between executive intent and operational reality, contributing to efficiency and continuous improvement within the organization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide an objective lens to assess whether the company's operational processes, internal controls, and risk management frameworks are functioning as intended. This role bridges the gap between executive objectives and day-to-day operations, focusing on safeguarding assets and driving organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Foodsmith.
• Evaluate operational workflows to ensure alignment with management’s stated objectives, policies, and standards.
• Perform all assigned audit duties and related tasks, including ad-hoc reviews and special business needs.
• Regularly update the direct manager on the execution, status, and timeline of assigned audit tasks, highlighting major control issues promptly.
• Act as an independent observer to identify inefficiencies, blind spots, and hidden risks within operations.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to executive management regarding process health and control gaps.
• Analyze the operating effectiveness of internal controls across various departments.
• Identify discrepancies between executive management’s policy intentions and day-to-day operational realities.
• Cooperate with department heads to resolve compliance failures under management direction.
• Investigate root causes of process failures or deviations from plans.
• Track and verify the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions and monitor remediation progress of previous audit recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed process verification and control testing.
• Experience in conducting gap analysis and root cause analysis.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring close cooperation with various department heads and reporting to a direct manager within the organization.
