Role Summary: Manager - Estimator

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a dedicated Manager - Estimator to join its full-time team in Riyadh. The primary purpose of this role is to execute estimation work in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring full compliance with the Company’s policies. This position is critical for leading and managing the investigation, coordination, and preparation of bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager - Estimator will oversee and contribute to all stages of the estimation process. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing input for the pre-qualification process.
• Studying tender documents and allocating tasks to the estimation team.
• Participating in risk assessment and collating inputs into the final proposal.
• Presenting proposals to the Tender Board when necessary.
• Participating in commercial and technical negotiations with partners and clients.
• Arranging detailed elemental scope analysis, including the formulation of checklists for drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications, to ensure comprehensive bid coverage.
• Ensuring thorough evaluation and comparison of Subcontract & Supplier quotations and producing Adjudication Summaries for Management review.
• Reviewing all Requests for Information (RFIs) prior to submission.
• Overseeing the content of Subcontract / Supplier packages prior to dispatch.
• Ensuring compliance and consistency of Rate Build-Ups in accordance with the ESEC data bank and arranging its regular update.
• Preparing Preliminary & General Items, in collaboration with the Tendering Director and the Operations Department.
• Preparing the final Tender Analysis / Top Sheet Summary.
• Ensuring that quantity Take-Offs from drawings are performed as required.
• Ensuring the Shared Folder structure is kept up to date and adequately populated by all staff.
• Preparing all documents for handover to Project Controls / Operations / Commercial Departments upon project award.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Manager - Estimator position must possess over 10 years of experience in estimation within the engineering and contracting sector.
