About the Role

Maaden is seeking a Manager, Leadership Academy to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for developing leadership capabilities across the organization, ensuring alignment with Maaden's strategic objectives, values, and capability priorities.

Role Purpose and Strategic Impact

The Manager, Leadership Academy is responsible for leading the design, governance, and delivery of Maaden's Leadership Academy. This role oversees leadership programs, learning pathways, and strategic partnerships to build a strong leadership pipeline, support succession planning, drive organizational transformation, and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Maaden's Leadership Academy strategy, aligning it with business and workforce priorities.
  • Build leadership capability to support organizational growth, transformation, and succession needs.
  • Ensure strong integration between leadership development initiatives, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning processes.
  • Establish comprehensive governance frameworks, standards, and operating procedures for all leadership development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Maaden's HR policies, financial controls, and learning governance guidelines.
  • Continuously improve leadership development practices through feedback mechanisms, data analysis, and the adoption of global best practices.
  • Lead and develop Leadership Academy team members and contributors.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, constructive feedback, and leadership excellence throughout the organization.

Program Design and Delivery

  • Design and oversee the development of leadership programs, academies, and structured learning journeys.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of all programs in collaboration with Academy operations and delivery teams.
  • Lead the development of leadership competency models, assessment tools, and targeted learning interventions.
  • Oversee executive and high-potential leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, administer program budgets, and evaluate overall program effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the design, governance, and delivery of leadership development programs within a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage external partnerships, budgets, and assess program effectiveness.

Performance Monitoring and Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on matters related to leadership capability and development needs.
  • Track and report on leadership program participation, outcomes, and overall effectiveness.
  • Monitor the impact of development initiatives on succession readiness, employee engagement, and leadership capability across the organization.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to Learning & Development, HR, and executive leadership.
