About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager, Project Management Design Mixed Use Urban Core to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on the successful design and project delivery of major Urban Core developments, ensuring design activities are effectively coordinated across consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be a delivery-focused design project manager capable of operating across multiple disciplines. The role involves driving design development through to successful construction delivery, maintaining alignment with programme, quality, cost, and overall project objectives for large-scale mixed-use urban core projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process from concept through detailed design and construction delivery.
• Support the development and implementation of project design strategies, programmes, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design consultants, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of design and interface issues.
• Manage design reviews, technical coordination, approvals, and design change processes.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, constructability, and delivery objectives.
• Work closely with Development, Commercial, Construction, Planning, and other project functions.
• Support procurement activities, consultant management, and contractor design coordination.
• Provide clear reporting on design progress, risks, key decisions, and required actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 7+ years of experience in design management and project management within major construction or development programmes.
• Experience delivering large-scale mixed-use, commercial, retail, hospitality, or urban development projects.
• Strong understanding of the full design lifecycle through to construction and handover.
• Client-side/developer experience is preferred, with strong consultant and contractor coordination capabilities.
• Middle East and major complex development experience is highly advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on significant urban core developments within Qiddiya. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
