MANAGER SAP AUTHORIZATION

Role Overview

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Manager, SAP Authorization to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for managing and maintaining the Delegation of Authority (DoA) across the organization, ensuring alignment between business processes, access controls, and governance policies. The Manager ensures operational authorities are designed, assigned, and monitored effectively to support secure, compliant, and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Delegation of Authority (DoA) Management:
  • Support the design, review, and enhancement of DoA frameworks in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and follow up on DoA approvals, updates, and implementation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user inquiries related to delegated authorities.
  • Analyze business processes to define and align authorization and approval requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update operational authority matrices.
  • Ensure delegated authorities and access permissions are clearly defined, accurately assigned, and controlled.
• Authorization Governance and Risk Management:
  • Review and assess risks associated with authorization design and access permissions.
  • Implement and monitor control measures to mitigate segregation of duties (SoD) and access-related risks.
  • Analyze the utilization of granted authorizations and recommend adjustments.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of authorization risk assessments and mitigation actions.
• Compliance and Reporting:
  • Act as the designated Role Manager in accordance with alfanar’s GRC policy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of user access rights and role assignments.
  • Produce periodic reports on authorization effectiveness, utilization, and compliance.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation and validation.

Leadership and Management Accountabilities

• Operational Oversight: Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables; anticipate problems and take proactive steps; make necessary and proper timely decisions; deliver required results with quality and cost efficiency; monitor and control budgets and expenses.
• Strategic Contribution: Translate corporate goals into business plans; plan, follow up, and execute annual and development plans; monitor plan performance and initiate corrective actions; provide periodic work progress reports; make a tangible difference and exceed business expectations.
• Organizational and Process Development: Develop organizational structure according to current and future requirements; ensure availability of job descriptions; develop and coordinate written systems, policies, and procedures; seek automation opportunities; be conversant with and promote IT solutions.
• Quality and Compliance: Uphold quality as a prime competitive advantage; adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models; ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per standard regulations.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in SAP authorization management, governance, and risk mitigation.
