About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Managing Director for The Avenues Riyadh, a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading and elevating three distinct brands—Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Canopy—within a significant mixed-use development. The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and commercial performance of all three hotels, ensuring each brand delivers a market-leading experience while shaping a curated luxury guest journey at Waldorf Astoria.

Property Overview

The Avenues – Riyadh is a mixed-use development spanning over 390,000 square meters, located at the intersection of King Salman Road and King Fahad Road. It integrates retail, hospitality, entertainment, lifestyle, and residential experiences. Hilton's luxury and lifestyle portfolio within this development includes Waldorf Astoria Riyadh The Avenues (389 rooms and suites), Conrad Riyadh The Avenues (419 rooms), and Canopy by Hilton Riyadh The Avenues (468 rooms), totaling over 1,200 guestrooms. These properties offer extensive dining, leisure, meeting, event, and wellness facilities, with the potential for branded residences. The Waldorf Astoria will occupy a 31-story tower, while Conrad and Canopy by Hilton will be housed in interconnected towers, benefiting from shared infrastructure and integrated guest amenities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic, operational, and commercial performance of the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Canopy hotels within The Avenues Riyadh.
• Define and execute short- and long-term business strategies, overseeing pre-opening, launch, and stabilization activities to align with brand and ownership objectives.
• Drive commercial performance by managing revenue generation, profitability, budgets, forecasts, and capital investments across the portfolio.
• Act as the primary liaison for ownership and Hilton stakeholders, fostering partnerships and providing strategic recommendations and performance reporting.
• Directly oversee the operations, guest experience, commercial performance, and team culture of the Waldorf Astoria as its General Manager, supported by a Hotel Manager.
• Provide leadership and governance to the General Managers of Conrad and Canopy, ensuring brand identity and guest propositions are maintained.
• Oversee cluster sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies to maximize performance across all business segments and facilities.
• Ensure operational excellence and brand compliance across all properties, identifying opportunities for efficiency and service delivery improvements.
• Develop leadership teams, strengthen succession pipelines, and support Saudization objectives while fostering an inclusive culture.
• Collaborate with regional Operations, Openings & Transitions, and Architecture, Design & Construction teams for successful project delivery and hotel openings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated leadership in strategic, operational, and commercial performance within the hospitality sector.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple hotel brands or properties.
