About the Role

SAICO Insurance is seeking a Marine Underwriting Officer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on marine policy processing and risk assessment support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare marine quotations, renewals, endorsements, and issue policies within established turnaround times.
• Obtain and review all necessary documents and information to ensure completeness before processing.
• Support risk assessment processes by gathering relevant information and evaluating exposures.
• Coordinate effectively with brokers and clients regarding quotations and required documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, renewals, and policy documentation to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate and organized underwriting records and files.
• Prepare Loss Record Summaries prior to processing Renewal Notices for brokers and producers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience within the insurance industry.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in Marine Policy Processing.
• Competence in Underwriting Documentation Management.
• Ability to perform Risk Information Review.
• Familiarity with System and Workflow Usage.
• Capability in Operational Reporting Support.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time schedule, contributing to the marine underwriting department at SAICO Insurance.
