Role Overview: Mechanical QA/QC Specialist
Group AMANA is seeking a Mechanical QA/QC Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, materials, equipment, and installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. The specialist will maintain the highest quality standards throughout project execution through inspection, testing, documentation review, and quality surveillance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review and ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Verify adherence to project specifications, contract requirements, and international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and project-specific requirements.
- Participate in quality audits and assessments.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Conduct inspections of mechanical installations, including HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
- Verify material receiving inspections and material traceability.
- Witness pressure testing, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure the calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
- Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, alignment, and mechanical completion activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA/QC within pipeline construction projects or EPC projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality documentation systems.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and pipeline construction practices.
