About the Role

alfanar Precast is seeking a Mechatronics & Automation Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced mechatronic, robotic, and automated systems within a multidisciplinary R&D environment. The role specifically includes developing construction automation solutions.

Role Purpose

The Mechatronics & Automation Engineer will combine expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronic, embedded systems, control systems, and software engineering. The primary objective is to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions across the entire development lifecycle. This includes defining requirements, designing systems, selecting components, prototyping, testing, commissioning, and implementing continuous improvements, while ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, safety, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate operational requirements into detailed technical specifications and system architectures.
• Integrate various subsystems, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, embedded, control, and software components.
• Conduct essential engineering calculations, feasibility studies, design reviews, and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, safety, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Technical Requirements

• Develop mechanical concepts, mechanisms, assemblies, and structural interfaces.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs).
• Evaluate component strength, alignment, vibration characteristics, installation procedures, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with fabrication and assembly teams throughout project execution.
