About the Medical Advisor Role

Kinetic Business Solutions is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to recruit a Medical Advisor for their Oncology division. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Medical Advisor will serve as a key scientific and medical expert within the organization. This role involves developing and maintaining deep scientific and medical expertise, facilitating scientific exchange, and providing essential medical information. Key responsibilities include delivering clinical presentations, responding to medical inquiries, and offering medical support for patient access programs in alignment with global and local policies. The role also supports the planning and execution of medical activities, fosters relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals, and provides crucial medical and scientific backing to Marketing, Sales, and Regulatory departments to achieve company objectives. Additionally, the Medical Advisor will act as a medical expert for internal training initiatives and support clinical research, including Investigator-Initiated Studies and observational studies, adhering to relevant guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. Attendance at scientific meetings and conferences, along with the development of related summaries and presentations, is also a component of this role.

  • Deliver clinical presentations and address medical requests.
  • Provide medical support for patients and formulary access, adhering to policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of medical activities.
  • Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Support Marketing, Sales, and Regulatory departments on medical and scientific matters.
  • Serve as a medical expert for internal training.
  • Support clinical research and observational studies.
  • Attend scientific meetings and contribute to presentation development.

Qualifications and Experience

This position requires a medical degree (MD), PharmD, or a relevant life science qualification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry is essential. Crucially, experience in Oncology Medical Affairs is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape. Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to engage effectively with both external experts and internal stakeholders.

Due to Saudization policies, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this position. The role is full-time and located in Riyadh.
