About Ipsen and the Role

Ipsen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Neuroscience to join its Medical Affairs team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, field-based position will focus on the Central Region and provide scientific expertise across both Therapeutic and Aesthetic indications within Neuroscience. The role involves improving patients' lives through innovative medicines and scientific collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and key medical experts.
• Lead high-quality, balanced, and evidence-based scientific exchange across Therapeutic and Aesthetic indications.
• Deliver and support scientific education, injector training, masterclasses, workshops, and expert meetings.
• Partner with key external experts to advance scientific understanding of toxin mechanisms, anatomy, and treatment outcomes.
• Gather and communicate medical insights on unmet needs, clinical practice, treatment trends, and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Support medical education initiatives, congress activities, advisory boards, and data-generation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and cross-functional colleagues, integrating field insights into medical strategy and planning.
• Maintain high standards of scientific integrity, compliance, and patient focus in all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree in Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience and a strong understanding of clinical and scientific data.
• Previous Medical Affairs experience is preferred.
• Experience or strong scientific knowledge in Neuroscience, Therapeutic, and/or Aesthetic medicine.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credible scientific relationships with healthcare professionals.
• The ability and willingness to work extensively in the field and travel regularly as required.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role within the Medical Affairs team, primarily covering the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. The position requires regular travel and direct engagement with the healthcare community.
