About the Role

A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid–Senior Banking & Finance Associate Lawyer to join its Riyadh office. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals with 3-9 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in banking and finance.

The Practice Group

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Banking & Finance practice, advising a diverse client base that includes domestic and international financial institutions, sponsors, government entities, and major corporates. The role involves working on significant financing transactions within the Kingdom, as well as sophisticated domestic and cross-border deals across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. Associates in this position will work closely with leading partners and gain substantial client contact and responsibility from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on Islamic finance and Shari'ah-compliant structures.
• Handling syndicated and bilateral lending transactions.
• Engaging in corporate finance matters.
• Managing acquisition finance transactions.
• Working on project finance deals.
• Dealing with real estate finance.
• Participating in refinancing and restructuring transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing security arrangements and financing documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• A Saudi National with 3-9 years PQE.
• Strong Banking & Finance experience acquired at a leading international or top-tier regional law firm.
• Demonstrated experience advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors, or financial institutions on complex financing transactions.
• Experience in Islamic Finance and Shari'ah-compliant financing structures is highly advantageous.
