Role Purpose and Impact

The Officer Loss Prevention plays a critical role in upholding the security standards of Courtyard by Marriott. Key Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access as needed.
• Monitor security sources and conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Respond promptly to accidents and provide assistance to guests and employees during emergency situations.
• De-escalate situations involving disruptive guests and, when necessary, escort individuals off the property.
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather relevant evidence, and facilitate interviews with involved parties.
• Complete all required shift reports accurately and maintain strict confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to adhere to established quality assurance standards and expectations.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required by the role.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (23 kg) or less without assistance.
• Ability to assist with moving objects weighing over 75 pounds (35 kg).
• Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
