PATIENT RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE I

About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Patient Relations Representative I. This full-time role involves coordinating and maintaining patient rights by educating patients, addressing concerns, and resolving issues to ensure adherence to policies and the Patients' Bill of Rights. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to patients and families, responding to inquiries and complaints, and liaising with relevant departments to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Coordinate, investigate, and resolve patient complaints and grievances regarding the quality of care and services.
• Provide expertise on patient needs and expectations, and educate staff and physicians on these issues.
• Serve as a central source and referral for information concerning patient rights and responsibilities.
• Conduct daily rounds with patients based on scheduled assignments.
• Respond to IPA ticketing system and outreach requests.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff joining the department regarding the roles and responsibilities of Patient Advocates.
• Maintain records of all complaints and related correspondence, preparing official responses for management review and feedback.
• Ensure patient and family confidence by maintaining the confidentiality of complaint information.
• Prevent complaints by counseling supervisors and managers on developing problems, offering suggestions for resolution, and modifying practices that cause repeated complaints.
• Collect and administer patient satisfaction data, inputting it into the electronic database and utilizing feedback to facilitate system improvements.
• Provide patients and significant others with feedback on issues of concern.

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
