Penetration Testing Consultant (Saudi National)

About the Role

VaporVM is seeking a Penetration Testing Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities across various technical domains. The role focuses on enhancing client security postures through rigorous testing and analysis.

Role Overview

The Penetration Testing Consultant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments. This includes identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to Red Team exercises and offensive security methodologies to simulate real-world threats effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Web, API, and Network Penetration Testing.
• Identify, exploit, and validate security vulnerabilities across various systems.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security testing using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Participate in Red Team exercises and adversary simulation activities.
• Document findings, assess risk levels, and prepare detailed penetration testing reports.
• Provide clear and actionable remediation recommendations for identified vulnerabilities.
• Support broader security assessments and contribute to the continuous improvement of clients' security posture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of Web, API, and Network Security principles and best practices.
• Experience or strong familiarity with Red Team operations and offensive security.
• Knowledge of common penetration testing tools and methodologies.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical skills for identifying complex security issues.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills for clear communication of findings.
