Planning Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves developing and maintaining detailed construction programs for large-scale projects, ensuring accurate progress monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain detailed construction programs based on verified site progress.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, two-week, and four-week look-ahead schedules.
• Collect progress data and verify reported quantities with site engineers.
• Monitor actual progress against baseline dates, milestones, and planned productivity.
• Identify delays, constraints, and potential schedule slippages.
• Prepare S-curves, manpower reports, progress dashboards, and schedule narratives.
• Support recovery planning, completion forecasting, and progress meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of progress measurement, critical-path monitoring, and look-ahead planning.
• Good analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on significant construction projects within the region.
