About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Plumber to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing a range of plumbing tasks, from routine maintenance to addressing specific repair needs within the property. The role requires a professional who can ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems while adhering to company standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Fix minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings according to specifications.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Study building plans and inspect structures to effectively plan plumbing installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required angles.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure longevity and operational efficiency.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate using clear and professional language.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance, and assist with objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move up and down a ladder, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required.
• Certifications: A Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License or Plumber Certification is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Plumber will work within a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring the smooth operation of all plumbing systems and contributing to guest satisfaction.
