About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Plumber to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing various plumbing tasks, from minor repairs and preventive maintenance to the installation and assembly of plumbing systems. The role requires a professional who can ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, fittings, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct tests on pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required angles.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform various minor repairs and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures, report hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and address their service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate professionally.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance, and assist with objects weighing over 100 pounds.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Climb up and down ladders and perform duties while standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A degree from a technical, trade, or vocational school is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is essential. No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• Licenses/Certifications: A Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License and Plumber Certification are required.
