The Role: Power BI Dash boarding & Self Service Reporting Expert

Hyper Lychee Labs is seeking a Power BI Dash boarding & Self Service Reporting Expert to join its team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires meaningful interaction with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert existing desktop Power BI reports into fully functional mobile versions of the same reporting suite.
• Maintain parity between desktop and mobile report versions as the underlying reports evolve.
• Contribute to next-generation reporting initiatives, including building mechanisms that enable end-users to create their own reports (*, drag-and-drop report building) without direct dashboard team involvement.
• Explore and prototype generative AI summary features within reports, such as AI-generated narrative summaries of report data, as an extension of standard dashboarding work.
• Contribute UX/UI thinking to self-service reporting tools, which may involve lightweight application building in addition to report design.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Power BI expertise, specifically including mobile report and dashboard development.
• Solid grasp of dashboard/report logic and the data modeling underpinning Power BI reports.
• Comfort engaging directly with business stakeholders on-site to gather and refine reporting requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with self-service BI/reporting tools or drag-and-drop report builders.
• Exposure to generative AI features embedded within BI tools, such as AI-generated summaries or natural-language querying of reports.
• Basic UX/UI sensibility for designing intuitive self-service reporting interfaces.
• Banking or financial services reporting experience.
