The Role of Principal Engineer Wet Utilities

Egis is seeking a Principal Engineer Wet Utilities to join its Infrastructure team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading high-profile projects, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering strong client relationships. The Principal Engineer will provide strategic direction, mentor junior engineers, and drive the successful delivery of complex Infrastructure projects within the Wet Utilities domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Wet Utilities for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain productive client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure optimal utilization and financial performance.
• Provide regular reports on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Prepare designs using Civil 3D software for a BIM environment.
• Assist in managing Infrastructure projects, supporting senior engineers and project leaders in achieving successful outcomes.

Leadership and Project Oversight

This role requires a professional who can provide strategic direction and technical leadership within the Infrastructure team. The Principal Engineer will be responsible for guiding project teams, ensuring the quality and compliance of all Wet Utilities designs and implementations. Effective communication and stakeholder management are integral to maintaining client relationships and driving project success.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities engineering, project leadership, and technical guidance within the infrastructure sector.
