Project Engineer Electrical (Substation)

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical (Substation) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the execution and supervision of 380kV substation projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, SEC standards, and safety and quality requirements. The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in relevant project execution.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer Electrical (Substation) will be responsible for overseeing the execution of 380kV substation and associated electrical/civil works. This includes ensuring all activities comply with approved schedules, project specifications, SEC standards, and stringent safety and quality protocols. The role requires strong site coordination and technical problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day site execution of 380kV BSP/substation projects.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, and SEC representatives.
• Ensure all work is executed strictly according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, material availability, and overall site resources.
• Ensure timely inspection, testing, documentation, and closure of all site activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly.
• Maintain continuous compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and SEC requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (** or Bachelor of Engineering ( in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of relevant project execution experience.
• Proven experience specifically in 380kV BSP/substation projects.
• SEC approval is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Strong knowledge of SEC standards, project execution methodologies, site coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Expertise in High Voltage SS systems.
