Job Description

About the Role

SAB is seeking a Project Finance Officer to join the Corporate & Institutional Banking - Credit and Lending department in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting the management of the project finance portfolio through monitoring compliance, tracking requests, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update the covenants and conditions tracker for the Project Finance (PF) portfolio and assist management in monitoring periodic compliance.
Track waiver and amendment requests within the PF portfolio and monitor their timely resolution by the Corporate & Institutional Banking Coverage team.
Monitor project constructions and operations updates through periodic review of LTA reports.
Review monthly PF portfolio system markers to ensure correct Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) and capital computations.
Ensure that Project Completion Date (PCOD) progress is proactively updated for RWA savings.
Support management, Project Finance Credit and Lending (PFCL), and Coverage relationship managers in evaluating project status for classification purposes.
Monitor warning signs within the PF portfolio.
Maintain and continuously improve Management Information (MI) and dashboards for the PF portfolio.
Support management in completing PFCL Certifications for annual reviews of PF borrowers.
Assist management in liaising with HSBC SA for technical matters related to the PF portfolio.
Provide occasional backup support to management in managing the contract finance portfolio.
Generate reports and dashboards as required.
